June 20, 2009 Meeting
Thank you to Cody Goodin for opening his studio at the Essex for a class on Sculpting Polymer Clay Heads. The instructions given by Cody and materials provided by the club made for a wonderful experience.

July 18, 2009 Meeting
Our July Meeting will be a road trip to Yellow Springs, Ohio
We will be attending a workshop provided by the Village Artisans in Yellow Springs. The plan is to car pool up in the morning, explore the many shops and galleries, have lunch and then attend the workshop held from 1:00 - 4:00 at the Village Artisans Center.
Workshop Information:
ARTIST TRADING CARD WORKSHOP
At the Village Artisans
100 Corry St. Yellow Springs, Ohio
Purpose – to make ATCs – Led by artists from the Village Artisans
We will learn a variety of techniques and have an opportunity to add to our stash of ATC’s for our own RCDM Challenge.
$15.00 fee for the workshop includes the ATC Kit containing 10 cards
plus all art supplies and light refreshments.
And an opportunity to meet and work with the many talented members of the Village Artisans!

#2.You do not need to send a check, you can pay the day of the workshop, but reservations must be made by July 17th.

About River City Dollmakers
Our mission is to give you an organized permission to play with contemporary art dolls and artistic figures! Our members work in cloth, fiber, clay, and mixed media. Our goal is to help those dollmakers interested in learning the craft gain the technical and artistic knowledge they need to do so. For those of you who are well-established in your craft, we consider this group an ideal way to network with others in the art doll world and to learn how to market yourself and your wares.
The River City Dollmakers Club is located in the Cincinnati Ohio, Northern Kentucky area. We welcome any art doll makers, sculptors, or collectors in the tri-state area. If you would like to get more information on the club please send an email to info@rivercitydollmakers.com and we will send a flyer or download our flyer on the Governance page.
We are currently meeting at Crone Cottage in Bellevue (605 Fairfield Avenue) on the third Saturday of each month, with our meetings starting at 10:00 am. There are a few months out of the year we meet at other places and this is detailed on our Events page. Annual dues (due in January each year) are $20 plus $5 (optional) for website linking.
